Mr. Westfall is the President and CEO of Westco Enterprises, Inc. Westco and other companies started by Mr. Westfall work in several arenas that include hotel development, venture capital, real estate, and other development projects in the United States, the United Kingdom, and China.
Mr. Westfall has worked directly with Z H Lodging since 2006 on a number of development projects inside the United States. He has also worked with some of ZHL principals for over 7 years within the United States and Canada. Mr. Westfall is currently a minority owner in a ZHL project in Rexburg Idaho.
Mr. Westfall earned his BS from Brigham Young University in Exercise Science with an emphasis in Business.
Mr. Higbee is a corporate attorney who specializes in corporate structure, sale and merger of businesses, general business planning and corporation law, private equity, SEC compliance, real estate development, contract negotiation, and technology law. Mr. Higbee was named to Utah’s Legal Elite 2009 for Mergers and Acquisitions.
He has helped organize or create business entities with many different legal, ownership and management structures. He has advised and helped clients raise financing to grow their businesses through private placements or other private financing, growing their businesses through joint ventures and other types of strategic alliances, and selling or merging their businesses. He has represented clients in many different industries including technology, construction, real estate, financial services, and consulting, etc. His business clients range in size and industry, and they range from small start-up organizations, to emerging growth companies, to large commercial, industrial and financial businesses.
Mr. Higbee is licensed to practice in Utah. He earned his Juris Doctorate degree from University of Idaho, College of Law in 2004. He was a visiting third year student at Brigham Young University, J. Reuben Clark law school. He received his B.S. in Political Science degree with a focus in International Relations and German minor from Utah State University. Mr. Higbee speaks fluent German.
Before joining i3 Technologies as Vice President of Research and Development, Mr. Studdert was a White House Appointee with the United States Agency for International Development in Washington, D.C. as an International Cooperation Specialist. He was the primary aid contact between the Bosnian Mission in Sarajevo and U.S. Agency for International Development, the State Department, and other U.S. agencies in Washington D.C.
Previous to USAID, David worked with Warren Miller Entertainment as their National Tour Manager in Boulder, CO. He managed advance, post-production, and presentation of an annual outdoor recreation film and was responsible for the coordination of all logistics with local planning officials in over 20 major U.S. cities. He also developed and managed strategic relationships and alliances with corporate and institutional sponsors, partners, and collaborators. Having spent time in both the private and public sectors since receiving a BS in International Law and Diplomacy at Brigham Young University, Mr. Studdert offers a broad knowledge of the international market place, governmental policies and procedures, and business in a free market economy. Mr. Studdert speaks fluent Russian.
Mr. Studdert has served in numerous positions at the federal government level and has been a United States Presidential appointee. In 2004, Mr. Studdert was appointed as special assistant to the Administrator at the United States Environmental Protection Agency in Washington D.C. He managed all activities of the Administrator and coordinated all domestic and international public activities for the Administrator’s Office. His responsibilities included planning and orchestrating various EPA events worldwide.
Mr. Studdert has extensive experience in international diplomacy and business. Subsequent to his service in Washington D.C., Mr. Studdert joined an international consulting firm, specializing in government-related business programs. He shares strategic relationships with a vast collection of corporate and political partners worldwide.
Mr. Studdert earned his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University in Political Science.
